Capita’s Mid Life series offers a true twin freestyle experience with an overall wider frame, slightly deeper sidecut, more pronounced shoulders and distinctive tip and tail shapes. New for the 2011/12 season, Capita took a zero camber approach with this board. Zero camber smoothes turn initiation tempo at the contact points, yet retains the design stability by engaging the entire effective edge.

• Zero Camber: Flat camber from contact point to contact point provides a slightly looser, easier to ride feel, without reducing the effective edge that typically results from full rocker shapes.

• SS Select Core: Engineered for anytime, anywhere performance reliability, the SS Select Core provides a perfect balance between energy and stability. Vertically laminated poplar is lightweight and has a long grain orientation. There are no irregularities or finger joints allowing for consistent flex throughout the deck.

• Form 6-K fiberglass construction: The Form 6-K glass configuration consists of 612g/m2 biaxial fiberglass placed on both the base and topside of the construction at 0 and 90 degree angles which allows for easy turn initiation and retained pop. The Form 6 glass configuration is laid up wet by hand during the lamination process.

• Carbon Kevlar Beams: Two 20mm carbon kevlar beams are laid vertically on either side of the inserts, extended just short of the tip and tail. These beams increase torsional rigidity and response.

• HMC Extruded Die-Cut Base: True to all extruded bases, this base is low maintenance, user friendly and performs well with or without constant waxing and attention. The HMC extruded base is a special "high molecular composition" base that is more dense, durable and abrasion resistant than standard extruded bases. The result is a hard, fast and reliable base that will get you where you want to go, and get you there fast.
